Mornington & Porter Handless Kitchen

This project proved to be one of our most complicated to date. Mixing elements from 2 different kitchen styles; handless and standard, whilst also ensuring each run or section of units finished and started in specific points. This was extremely important to our client and we are so pleased we were able to make it happen.

The Island:

This is a fully bespoke handless island with a full wrap around top rail. We spent many hours ensuring the worktops were perfect- the measurement needed to be exactly 3.1 x 1.3 meters, with a perfectly central sink and every overhang needed to be perfectly millimetre equal on all sides. The delivery and installation of the worktop proved to be the difficult part, requiring a record breaking 6 people to lift.

Too add to complications, it was agreed the 600mm wine cooler would move to the opposite side of the island- this resulted in a complete redesign of the island at the late stage of the process.

Kitchen Run:

Our client specified they would like this to run perfectly parallel with the Kitchen, the range needed to be positioned exactly central to the 2 windows with the Quartz worktop running beautifully into the window seal providing an infinity effect. 2 bespoke studio height oven units were also provided.

Bank of Tall Units

It was agreed that a feature was required in order to break this bank of tall units up. Working closely with our customer we came up the idea of a bespoke cross sectioned wine rack to fit perfectly above the Fridge freezer with 2 larger panty units either side. A tall bespoke wine rack was also provided to fill the remaining space.

We think the end result is absolutely breath taking; this kitchen highlights how the finer details make the biggest impact.
